1. Dataset of the week: Email receipts data.

Vendor overview: The dataset is delivered through a partnership with a provider that collects anonymized purchase data from around 2 million active shoppers, scanned from email purchase receipts. It covers over 600 merchants from more than 25 industries.

The provider transforms multiform unstructured email receipt data into a normalized digestible consumer transaction dataset. The dataset is also granular as it includes item and SKU-level transaction data, which is filtered into 53 product categories.

Dataset Overview:

  • History: Since 2013.
  • Geography: United States.
  • Delivery: API or CSV.
  • Frequency: Weekly.
