4. Did you know? 

Eagle Alpha’s Search Signals product consists of a series of company revenue indicators constructed using Google search volumes for a company’s product offering. Observing crossing points of various moving averages of an index provides an insight into search momentum for a company’s products, and has demonstrated a relationship with reported company sales metrics. The Search Signals product is designed to provide a directional indicator of company sales, particularly at inflection points, rather than a trading signal.

We have been tracking the accuracy of Search Signals on each company, particularly around published data insights reports where we believed our signal had importance. We found over time that signals with a shorter moving average, such as retail and restaurant stocks, are more accurate and easier to measure than longer timeline signals across software stocks.
