Thank you also to our sponsors Lowenstein Sandler LLP, RavenPack, Crux Informatics, IHS Markit, S&P Global Market Intelligence, Nasdaq, Adaptive Management and State Street and to all data vendors and buyside attendees.

2. Data Sourcing

Points to note:

1) The profile of one of the most popular data vendors on our platform:

This vendor leverages filings with the IRS and Dept. of Labor that pertain to employee benefit plans. The vendor tracks every company operating in the U.S. and their locations, accounting for over 95% of U.S. employment. The source filings are audited, cash based, traceable, and updated monthly, spanning 2010 – present. For approximately 4,000 tickers, the vendor provides point in time factors mapped to tickers relating to employment, cash contributions, benefits, growth, profitability, and credit; and all the U.S. locations of these tickers. In addition, the vendor covers in excess of 12 million U.S. private companies with over 20 million locations, providing core firmographics, growth trends, and credit indicators to enable detailed industry and macro analysis.

2) Clients get access to our proprietary datasets e.g. we have launched a consumer transaction dataset called RevCast. Eagle Alpha’s RevCast indicators are company level revenue indicators, designed to predict quarterly revenues for major US consumer companies.

3) Examples of client requests:

  • What are the best social media data vendors for the Chinese market?
  • What are the best alternative datasets for Australian equities?
  • Which alternative datasets could be used to analyse the healthcare sector?

4) Upcoming roadshow:

  • June 25-29, Chicago, Boston, CT, NYC: A corporate aviation dataset is meeting funds. Eagle Alpha is the exclusive distributor of this dataset.

On May 30th DKS reported a strong April quarter and raised its full-year guidance on an improvement in business fundamentals. Please contact us for more information on our Data Analytics offering at enquiries@eaglealpha.com.
