Quality Screening

  • Email Receipt Data: we performed a quality test of an email receipt dataset and discovered many common aggregation pitfalls and the report demonstrates how to use these aggregation techniques to handle situations such as single email / multiple unique products, single order / quantities of single product, missing order numbers, missing item prices, and situations where the sum of the item prices multiplied by the quantities does not equal the order total price. The percentage of occurrences of these edge cases vs the full dataset were computed, and were found to be quite rare.
